Stonecrest Fest Inc. was created in 2017 to celebrate the newly established city of Stonecrest in DeKalb County, Georgia.
Stonecrest Fest Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to supporting the city administration’s and the city council’s goals of growing Stonecrest into a community where commerce and culture work together as a world-class city. This will be accomplished through community outreach and by providing various platforms which encourage involvement of residents, businesses and other non-profit organizations throughout the city of Stonecrest and beyond.
The mission of Stonecrest Fest Inc. is to produce a series of events that bring communities together to support local businesses, promote tourism, learn about and experience the city’s rich history, explore the National Heritage Area of Arabia Mountain, offer health, finance, educational opportunities and to enjoy the culinary, artistic and varied talents of its residents and others.
The first festival was so successful that it has now become an annual Fall event, attracting more and more of the city’s 60,000 residents as well as visitors from neighboring cities and neighboring states each succeeding year. As the city grows, so will Stonecrest Fest.
